Tortona Design Week 2013: the creations of the Portuguese “Associative Design – The Best of Portugal”
Creativity is the buzzword for the third consecutive participation at Tortona Design Week 2013 Brand Associative Design – The Best of Portugal. The selected area for this edition is the number 20 of Via Novi and the project was assigned to Remade in Portugal with the promises boldness and originality.
Strengthening the name of Portugal as an active player in the international furniture design therefore continues to be the main focus of the brand Associative Design. Created in 2009 by aimmp – Associação das Indústrias de Madeira and Mobiliario de Portugal, the brand brings together, in cooperation, national companies and designers in unison and promotes the innovative capacity and the quality of national brands, that is, the best of Portugal.
In Tortona Design Week will be exhibited the unique works of renowned the professionals Portuguese – as Álvaro Siza Vieira and Souto Moura – alongside the works of young artists and companies. Among the main novelties Unda Unda 01 and 02 of Álvaro Siza and SOMA, Attitude and Attitude2 Alda Tomás and SPAL and Cookies + Corkrubber of Simpleformsdesign.
