The Narrow House by Bassam El Okeily
Bedroom
The young Egyptian architect Bassam El Okeily realized his Bilzen Narrow House in Belgium for a couple of boomers: she was an artist and he was a lover of art.
The house, with a width of 5.3 meters has a close ground floor. Above it stands a transparent glass volume from which we note the presence of two inclined balconies: the lower hides a reading corner, away from the prying eyes of passers-by and has a library belonging to the owner of the house, the upper balcony encloses the study of the woman.
The house was created as a place to talk about two people who met and where they live their passions, a place where they do not have to leave, but where you can spend a lifetime together.
