At Maison & Objet 2013, Slide had a number of innovations: the armchair America, the lectern Swish, the lamp Kaleido, Bamboo booth vases and Privé, the Gift Collection and the new Chocolate color.

America
America

I have always wanted to go in a composition like Maison & Objet, not because they have a lot of home decoration pieces but because everything is made by a famous designer. The last time I went in one was in Berlin (2012) and I bought so many things that I couldn’t move them; so I had to order two taxi trucks in order to help me move all my new decorations to my home (which is outside Berlin). Lets go back to the 4 products of Slide now:

Kaleido
Kaleido

America bears the signature of the French designer Marc Sadler, an elegant sitting with arms, with a comfortable cushion with foam and colored polyurethane; America is inspired by the Roaring ’50s, with an elegant retro flavor. Swish is the new creation of Karim Rashid and is the first music stand light produced by rotational molding. The onomatopoeic name recalls speed and agility of movement, slim lines and light shapes.

Kaleido instead bears the signature of Denis Santachiara, a modular lamp to use both suspension and wall, horizontally or vertically. Kaleido takes its inspiration from the kaleidoscope and is integrated with energy-saving lighting and LED technology.

Privé
Privé

The collection of new vessels are Bamboo Slide, designed by French Tous Les Trois, which reflect the simple lines of bamboo: a luminous slim and tall vase, which can also be used to divide spaces with elegance and finally Privé, a modular lighting vase which is ideal to take advantage of in order to divide the spaces. Gift Collection are seven mini-lamps that reproduce in miniature the famous SLIDE lamps: the penguin Koko, the bear Pure, owl Bubo, the sheep Rina, the robot Mr.Bot and lamps sculpture and Myflower.

Latest addition to the new Chocolate color is a warm color, completely environmentally friendly, non-toxic and fully recycled (100% recyclable).
