Maison & Objet 2013: Meissen Home presents the Eternal Flower in collaboration with Vladimir Kanevsky
Meissen presented at Maison & Objet 2013, the new limited-edition collection of Meissen Home line, a new series of decorative objects for interior design with the Meissen Eternal Flower in collaboration with the American designer Vladimir Kanevsky.
For over twenty years the artist of Ukrainian origin and of perfected proposes in his studio in New York, the eighteenth-century European tradition of trompe l’oeil creating new floral collections in limited edition porcelain.
The collaboration resulted in 11 floral arrangements for the first time at Maison & Objet in Paris. Vladimir, a guest in one of the studio where in the Meissen art Campus had worked closely not only with the heritage, but also with the team of German manufacture, where he drew inspiration from the huge archives of Meissen, which comprise more than 60 thousand 700 thousand drawings and molds.
