Maison & Objet 2013: Bitossi Ceramiche | The Fibonacci series designed by Brian Sironi
At Maison & Objet 2013, Bitossi Ceramiche presented the Fibonacci series designed by Brian Sironi, with which is known for the numerical sequence of the known mathematical results in two cylindrical vessels and a ceramic bolus. Each element of the collection is made up of Fibonacci rings that grow in height respecting the evolutionary model of sequence, in which the next number is the sum of the two previous numbers.
The series are made of three objects: two cylindrical vases and a bolus which is also cylindrical. All turned and engraved by hand, they are available in two colors, a gray and a brown, applied with a brush and then sponged with water to give a striped effect and variously nuanced.
