For the Salone del Mobile 2013, D3CO casquet presented a preview of the new sofa designed by ddpstudio, a sofa, inspired by the idea to create different possibilities of use of sessions.

The inspiration comes from the actions of those who, sitting on the couch, throw a blanket on your lap or take a pillow to put under their head. Daily routine, which is at a series of objects for the home, are the complements of the sofas. Casquet summarizes object and application in a single solution: leading to the main session. In fact, the key element of the project is the cushion of the seat to create a unique piece that tapers outward to create the padding of the arm, which then characterizes the aesthetics of the sofa.

The same pillow-rolled sofa from its end-discovers a side of the sofa and lends itself to be used as a comfortable headrest, turning the casquet in a comfortable daybed. As with all D3CO products, the casquet as well  is made with natural materials.
