Children’s dishes with a touch of imagination
Four years ago, Samantha Lee, a classic mom from Malaysia with two daughters, could not imagine the current publicity and reputation through simple everyday processes like preparing food. With over 300,000 followers on Instagram and articles on the Daily Mail and the Huffington Post, Samantha became the inspiration for moms around the world. What does she do? She creates with food on their plates! She cuts the bread, vegetables, fruits, smeared with nutella and jam, uses her imagination just with kitchen tools and the materials she has in the fridge, making the table look like it’s filled with little masterpieces.
“I started making these artistic dishes when I was pregnant with my second daughter, in order to motivate the first one to eat a little more as jealousy reacted with denial in food. Since then, we bet every day with the kids and my husband, on the inspiration for the next day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have become a fun process for everyone” she says, proud of her projects.
